Engineering Projects (India) Ltd. observed the Vigilance Awareness Week - 2009 in their Corporate Office and Regional Offices (Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata & Delhi) from 03.11.2009 to 07.11.2009.

Shri A. K. Ratwani, Director (Projects) inaugurated the Vigilance Awareness Week – 2009 at 11 AM on 03.11.2009 by administering the vigilance pledge to all officials of company working in the Corporate Headquarter and Northern Region. The Regional Officers In-charge and the officers in-charge of the sites administered the pledge to the officials working in their respective jurisdiction. The messages from the Hon’ble President, Hon’ble Vice President, were read by Director (Projects) and the message from Hon’ble Prime Minister was read by Director (Finance). The message from Central Vigilance Commission was read out by Shri Nawal Kishore, Chief Vigilance Officer.

The Southern Regional Office, Chennai informed that their programme concluded with a talk by the Incharge, about effective preventive measure emphasizing the need to eradicate corruption at all levels. It has been informed that PCO Hyderabad, Bangalore and all the site Incharge(s) observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 3.11.09 to 07.11.09

The Western Regional Office, Mumbai informed that their programme was concluded emphasizing the need of effective preventive measure through system improvement and use of information technology to fight corruption. It was also emphasized the role of preventive vigilance through leveraging of technology in the organization in respect of all areas of functions,

All the staff of Corporate Office and Regional Offices took keen interest in the matter.
